I think i have finally figured out what is wrong with my M-37.
The distributor is worn out. There is alot of slop in the rotor shaft. I am wondering how i would go about getting a "new" distributor. No parts stores have one. I have an Autolite on now. I can't read the part number but i know the shaft has a slot in the center. Can anyone help me locate a distributor for my truck? Thanks. Jeff
P.S. The oil pump came from a WWII era dodge.
