Chewie is correct,...to identify the motor, look at the block on the drivers side, directly below the head there will be a machined area with the motor serial number stamped into it. Part of that number should include 318-3 either at the beginning or the end. (old-timers tells me that it should be at one or the other) See photo, look under the head at the right of the engine (driver's side)
