Twas the night before Christmas, as I rolled down the road.
All the gears were a squealing, as I carried home the load.

The Dodge she was loaded, full of gifts, with much care.
In hopes that the home, the old truck would get there.

When what before my wonderous eyes would appear.
A jolly old elf, a red sleigh, and nine tiny reindeer.

Stuck deep in the ditch, clear up past the runner.
The reindeer exhausted, as Santa yelled gun ner!

I pulled to the side, asked if he needed some aid.
He smiled at me, nodding, he was very delayed.

We grabbed the cable and spooled it off of the winch.
Hooked the chain up to Rudolph, without even a flinch.

Santa's eyes they did gleam by the wondrous sight.
The flat fendered Dodge with it's power and might.

Pulled out of the ditch the old gaffer, his sleigh, and da deer.
The elves repacked the presents as they cheered.
For not for the old Wagon there would be no Christmas this year.

I heard him excleam as I drove out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all Dodgers and to all Dodgers Goodnight.
