Front Axle question for the Shafts

This is what I have; I have a long and short axle to go into the Differential. I also have 2 real short spline and knuckle for the front hub end. There is also two knuckles that inter/lock to tie these together and make a flexable shaft. Is this what goes in the round part behind the backing plate? If so do you have to take the front socket area all apart to put them in there? This is why I need a exploded view of that section to make sure I have all the parts befor I start. Thanks, Mark H.
