Whether that PW in the garage is not being worked on due to lack of time, lack of funds, or competing committments, it ends up taking its place on the list of priorities making up our lives. I'm often so envious of the folks on this Forum who place their PW's high up (or even at the top) of their lists and as a result, are able to drive, use, and enjoy their trucks from the driver's seat. My wife Jan does not share my enthusiasm for old trucks like she does our enjoyment of the out-of-doors. The time she and I spend together climbing, hiking and backcountry skiing in the mountains of Colorado take a much higher priority for me than the PW. It took all of the available funds for me to purchase & transport my '53 B4 over 1 1/2 years ago. I'm still recouping that bank account before being able to assuredly begin any serious restoration efforts. In the meantime the truck sits waiting in the garage and I'm living that part of life vicariously through the antics of others on this great and appreciated Forum. When the time is right, as it was when we built our house and that became our priority, the PW will get worked on and it will be done right. I wholehheartedly agree with the sage and less-wordy MoparNorm in his description about how difficult-to-acheive perfection can result in hesitation to begin the project.
