About 8 years ago at the Fairfield PW rally there was someone selling both GM HEI distributers modified for the 230 engine, and running board blocks made up of a TREX,(trade name),like material. I now know that TREX makes dimensional lumber, and the recycled milk jugs/sawdust that the material is made up of should last as long as your or my grandchildren...and my oldest child is only 9! Its malso very easy to work with, but is heavier than wood.
