michelin tires will always measure out as their tech specs indicate when mounted on the correct size wheel and measured as the data sheet indicates off vehicle, inflated to correct pressure and then measured after a certain time frame
all tire measurement/comparisons must be made in the same manner.
not rocket science in the above photo the michelin is not mounted on the vehicle and the other tire is (perhaps it has been jacked up so there is no load on it)
what does the swamper or whatever mfgr specs show should be the dimensions ?
what was the original tread depth and how much is remaining ? (32nd of inch center of tread)
