okay, here goes, i'll try to recap everything! 1958 W200, i have NO axleshafts, some idiot stole them before i ever even knew the truck existed, same person stole the front driveshaft too,(who would do that?!) they were aparentlly sitting in the back of the truck(removed for towing) and when the owner came to pick up the truck they were stolen. what info do you need to find some axleshafts? gear ratio I assume? i though i knew the gear ratio, but aparenty my door tag has been swapped, and consequently doesn't match the frame # I don't know if either axle has a tag, but I can check tomorrow. i could afford maybe a hundred plus shipping? VPW wants around $300 for just the axleshafts, and I still have to go through the entire brake system!ugh! one more question, if you can help me. when looking under the front axle at the backing plates, i noticed that the entire backing plate has either shifted or been removed and reinstalled wrong(most likely). its shifted(on both sides) about one bolt (space between studs)upward and it appears that way on both sides, any thoughts? maybe someone didn't put it back together right? i've compared it with my W100 and the W100 seems normal all around, all the access covers are right where they should be. weird huh? any help with my troubles would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all, Jason
