Hey Ed,
Its a 9' Good Roads. All the parts together (including those that stay on the truck) weigh 1500 lbs. No worry about the front suspension. It was designed with front hydraulics on the suspension that raise the front of the truck when raising the plow to take all of the weight off of the springs. A 1947 design. Only had to drill two holes to mount the entire assembly and it clears the winch. Someday I will get storage for digital photos and figure out how to post here.
She's all mounted and ready for the first snow.
