Continuation of WDX Door Saga

Doug in Colorado has a "bare" driver side door for my WDX .Only problem is his door has a vent window and mine doesn't.Can I convert his door to mine using my door's innerds ie.,regulator,etc? What do I do with the vent? Conversely,can I upgrade to vent windows(Doug can sell me a pass.side door)using my door parts? Glass on both of my doors is gone so thats not a problem.I think I know the answer but appreciate your help.
