Use an oxy-acetelyene torch with a real small flame, heat it to where it starts to run and hit the oxy. Easy outs and drill bits have a very high carbon content so they burn more quickly that either iron or regular steel. It should burn that right out and leave you a clean hole to play with (no comment)
