odd 218

im trying to rebuild my engine and am having trouble finding main bearings i have been told the engine is a 218 but the bearings i have gotten are either too wide or the tabs are on the wrong side ive ordered bearings for a 251,230,218 the bearings i get are always wrong has anyone run across this ever
