The last one I bought was a Craftsman 3 1/2 ton, with a lifting range of 5 3/4" - 20". This jack has a rapid travel stroke. Get under the pumpkin and with one stroke, you've engaged it. I'm happy with it.
I back it up with 6 ton jack stands.
It's made in China, but well made. I don't waste my money on cheap tools.
