I know that on the Mobil 1 10W-30 bottle, it talks about being ideal for "older, high-mileage engines". I wonder if 78K is hihg mileage. In the old days, (the 50's to the mid 80's), engines were about wore out at 80K. But, the last 15-20 years have seem a dramatic increase in engine life. So maybe, 78K on my V-10 is not high mileage.
