Sorry for the slow response. Was out of town on biz. It's a German term adopted here, hence the shutz description.

A shutz gun is air compressor operated. Get it at a NAPA etc. Better yet, bum it from a buddy at a body shop.

It's a die cast spray gun designed to pass heavy stuff like the gunky rustproofing. It moves a lot of material fast.
I put a 3/8 tube about 3 feet long on the intake and pass it through a tightly drilled cap into the gallon bottle of the rustproofing. That way you can lay under the vehicle and spray without the worry of tipping the bottle over, therefore adroitly rustproofing your back, arm, and the shop floor.

Add a 12" similar hose on the output and you can squirt stuff into crevices nicely. Naturally it's grossly overpriced at about $50, yet it's one of those gotta have items.
Unless of course you are fortunate enough to live in an area where rust is of no concern.
