We had a local guy who owned a rough but complete M37 that sat for sale for many years. It had no glass but did have a winch. Depending on the phase of the moon, he would ask between $4-5K for it. I thought it was worth about $1500. Another guy finally traded him even for an old VW bug. You may want to go the barter route. A lot of people don't necessarily want cash but will drool over some item and be willing to trade. Dad always said, "One man's trash is another's treasure".
