Have to agree with ya on this one, a siphon gun works just fine, considering getting the final coats of paint on the sheetmetal is about 2% of the effort. If you are only doing a part or two at a time you might consider a detailer gun, much smaller, less cost, easier to maneuver, and you need only to mix smaller quantities of paint, unless of course you are spraying lacquer and dozens of coats.... then the standard gun. If you have a compressor, then picking up a good used inexpensive siphon gun seams like the thing to do.
