Hey Dean, I too live in Maine and also like the way they title (or don't) older vehicles. Sold a W-500 rolling chassis to a fellow in Pennsy who later requested a title, and after many phone calls to Augusta received a very official looking letter stating that there was no existing title or registration in their records, which in their opinion was okay - but could not issue a title! Great for us, but when we want to sell a vehicle out of state to an individual who might want to title and register same in his home state? Would appreciate any thoughts - Dean, Eric - jump in!
