Ha! ha! Sounds like Kentucky is using the CA tax playbook! I too like the chatter of my 2002 old generation Cummins,..it is just embarassing when I drive down my street and everyone runs out with their trash cans thinking they missed trash day, ha!ha!
The new Cummins has both the high pressure common rail and the turbo relocated, both of which lower the dbs. My truck is not one to cruise around in with the windows rolled down! Good Luck!
