Didn't you read that article in the recent Power Wagon Advertiser about wearing gloves?

I actually had two pairs of gloves, one that were really greasy for pulling off the big messy pieces, and the other that were cleaner. And then I used my hands for the delicate stuff.

But I admit that I washed my hands a couple of times during the project. I kept having to (a) order more parts from VPW, (b) run inside and use my computer, deal with stuff, look in books, and (c), well, I'm kind of a geek and try not to get too dirty.

Guilty as charged. But I did get the axle seals and gaskets replaced and there wasn't all that much dirt under my fingernails....
