Given the serious nature of your approach to this (down to frame...) I would encourage you to remove, disassemble, and evaluate the engine. Meaning: measure cylinders and bearing journals on the crankshaft. Deglaze and install new rings if cylinders good. Use crank as is if journals measure to be good. Be certain to grind valves and seats, replacing any questionable seats, probably replace guides and exhaust valves, intakes as needed.

Assemble with new rod and main bearings, water distribution tube, new oil pump, new or rebuilt water pump. Have your radiator thoroughly cleaned by a shop specialilzing in that work.

There is an entire range of possibilities you could implement between doing nothing and doing a very expensive rebuild. This is an approach that would likely serve you very well, and fits with your described circumstance where it runs fine now....
