Put a chalk mark somewhere on the outside diameter of one of the tires. Push the truck far enough to get the chalk mark to go all the way around (360 deg) to the same spot it was before you pushed the truck. Have someone count the revs of the driveshaft. 6 turns gives you 5.83 to 1. 5 turns gives you 4.89 to 1. Crude but it works.
