I had ordered the gaskets from VPW and when I checked my diagram I noticed that the outer nut was missing, too, so I called them a second time. I think it was Dave who answered the phone, and when I described what was missing he said, "you gotta have those!" and then he said, "I bet you need the wrench, too." Yup. It made the whole job kind of like rolling off a log.
