318LA or 318-3LA...

I would assume that the correct V8 engine in a 1970 W300 is a 318 premium.

Typically, like Poly-wise, the 318-3 has a bit lower compression than the car engine.

I was getting high readings from the 318 in W300 the other night and wonder if it is the orignial engine or replaced witrh non-premium.
