I am stripping down a 49 B1PW to somewhat restore and run. I have many questions but two to begin with. Speedo shows 25,000 miles.Last time it ran was 79. I dropped pan, rebuilt carb , clean oil and started. it sounded fine and did not notice any amount of smoke. Would you consider that good enough. What is the life exspectancy of these engines? Also clutch had a fuzzy sound when desengaged? Inner frame rail is rusted through. should I look for a frame or are my only options to repair? Thanks for any advice.
