If I were to read this correctly, you had an empty trailer when this happened? From the way I read it, even without the trailer, you would have probably flipped the truck anyway. Witness all of the flipped Explorers blamed on blowouts on the Firestones.
Of course a Dually Truck would probably have remained controllable. So what? I do not see this as a complete lack of judgement but rather Murphy's law at work. Don't beat yourself up. Not all of us can run out and buy a new dually.
Tire wear, road conditions, speed, and other factors came together at the wrong time and you found yourself in a ditch. I am just glad you are ok.
