Why the Chevy and not the Dodges????

I have all of the "Big 3" in my little fleet of drivers (PLEASE don't send Uncle Guido to break my legs). This morning I had to make an early run into town when it was 15 degrees outside (No, Maui Dave, Mopar Norm, et al, I'M NOT WHINING ABOUT THAT!). I jumped into my 30-year-old step van with the SBC, and as usual, pumped the accelerator pedal twice, and she fired up and never died as I chugged up my hill. I can't get either of my Daily Dodges (318 and 400) to fire up that quickly when it's 75 degrees out. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated... (What!!! I couldn't possibly put the Chevy THERE!). Thanks, -D.
