DSL can go 15,000ft under ideal conditions, if the telephone cable is 26 guage, the limit is 9,000. There is a DSL booster made by Adtran available but most phone companies don't use them because of cost. My 2cents, this is what I do when they drag me out of my power wagon when I get to work.
