I believe you are talking about the plastic lens with the replaceable halogen bulb? You can improve those by polishing and wet sanding like you would a paint job, it takes awhile but itd usually worth the effort. they get nasty because basically every time you drive down the road you are essentially sandblasting the lenses( all the dirt and particles in the air and off the road) Also year one is supposed to have a polish kit for the plastic lenses.
