I've got a (bought new from Cosrco)Michelin XPS 9X16.5 that blew in Buttonwillow. 75MPH on I5 and bang, loud like and tore up the floorboard (passenger side rear) like a granade went off. Air pressure fine & new condition, not towing anything and not loaded down at all. I thought I had bought the best tire in the world... I switched to GoodYear after that one. I still have the blown tire, still totally amazed at the damage, am greatfull an accident didn't happen, and needless to say have some reservation about buying Michelin again (I haven't yet). I'll put the remaining 4 on my F350 when it's running again, for dump runs and swap meets. Oh yea, one thing about Costco... they are market driven so have them check inventory in other areas if they don't stock the tire you need close to your home. Not too many minivans need the 11.00X16s :)
