Where are you located? The nation economy continues to recover at a 3.5% rate this year. But depending upon your location it could be up 10% or down 20%, since the national figures are an average.
I've been in business over 20 years and I've come to the conclusion that the economy is 85% mental. You start talking it up, it goes up, you start talking it down, it goes down, that is due to the fact that consumer spending is driven by confidence, or lack of the same. If people THINK the economy is bad they stop spending. If they stop spending, I stop selling and have to lay off workers, and by golly those who stop spending are soon out of a job. It is a self fullfilling prophecy!
Have a positive outlook and you'll be fine. By the way folks, this is your last chance to buy Keiths' truck before the economy booms and you are priced out of the market!
