You know...I've heard that Alternators outlast Generators...but like Todd, I've bought 15 P/W's over the past few years & found lots of faulty regulators but never ever a worn out Generator. They've always worked perfectly for me & I'd never consider switching unless I went crazy & decided to add aftermarket lights or switch to 12 volt...or something crazy like that.
