Let's see I bought my 52 PW in 1986 for $800. It was a great buy. I was lucky to get it before some saltwater fisherman in Alaska got it. It was in great shape body wise with no rust. It was from Montana and had been used in a gold mine near Denali National Park in central Alaska.

I have redone the brakes, rebuilt the engine, added a winch, and changed the transmission and added the PTO and added seat belts. So it should be worth $2,500 according to some people's thinking. But I have seen similar trucks go for 10K or more.

Boy I should sell now! In the past, I have been offered lot's of money and many different trucks for it. The answer is always "no way". I had one guy show up with his title to a 2 year old Suburban and offered to trade straight across. That was over 20K. No way, I like my truck. Besides the kids have said that my life is forefit if I sell it. The choice is obvious I will keep the truck and keep my life. It is just too much fun to drive and everyone treats me so well, even when I am doing 45 down the freeway. For some reason people just do not give me a hard time in the PW. If I were doing the same thing and any of my other vehicles (except the Carryall WC53) they would have been giving me the single finger salute and other "nice" bits of verbal and non-verbal communication.

I do not care what it's $$$$ value is. It is worth so much more than people can offer.
