JYD Down where you live in Taxachussettes the Labor rate the insurance companies is probably somewhere around 70.00 an hour Up here in the woods of Maine my buddy gets 55.00 an hour from insurance Co's. As far as not being able to get the waveys out your either not using enough filler of your sanding it to much. Try using a sanding board that uses 2 3/4 X 14 inch paper, that way it won't follow the dips as you sand. Dean
