Good transport ranges from $1.00/Mi-$2.00/mi. It depends on whether the company is hauling just your truck...or 3-4 trucks & it also depends on where you're located.
I could ship from Vancouver, B.C., to Ed in San Mateo, or to Los Angeles for much less than I can ship to Salt Lake City, Utah or to Montana.
The only slim chance of getting a tow for $.30/mile is if a truck is returning empty & you happen to catch him when he needs some drinking money!
