- Make sure the intake manifold nuts are tight;
- If you have any vacum rubber hose ported off the rear of the intake manifold, check it for cracks;
- Buy a can of spray carb cleaner and spray down the air port at the top of the carb for the air/fuel idle mixture. Could be a little plugged,
- Drive it some and see how it responds to determine if other problems appear.
