Jonas, do you know if the truck you own has locker available for the front unit? That is the point that matters to me, it is a great truck, but since all the flooding down here i learned that without a locked front end that truck will not go very far in mud, plus it really needs a 5 speed overdrive and tall wide tires, i hate lifted extreme trucks too. This truck could be an excellent mudder if a 5 ton mil rockwell, not a top loader was installed in front so it could be locked in 4wd. Where will you look or ask for a locker for your w500? I hope you find one, but as far i am concerned the w500 is no good for my application untill a front diff that can be locked appears in it. Do you have a phone number, part number website for the Coffeen book, what does it cover? Thanks, i donot care about slamming unless it needs it. Please explain how it is mature and classy to own a truck that can not be put to work, i thought dodge trucks were job rated, not trailer rated queens, show us your truck in mud, in the woods, or in a mudpit just for laughs, surely you have thought about it? Terras would fit with your bed on rear, telling me if you had a chance to buy some 20 inch rubber that would fit and not need lift you would pass? Its your truck but it sure would be better in mud! I beleive the reason the trucks are not equipted with better tires is the crappy budd style orphan web wheel supply, nobody builds wheels in any 20 inch wide types that can be swapped in easily, like a 13x20 michlin nato tread. I think the forum is slipping, it needs seperate forums where the stock, mods, extreme can interact with there own kind. Jonas do you have a parts manual, owner manual, service manual for your or any w500 that are for sale or copies or know of any? Thanks. Hope you can find a locker, the front diff is the same a white halftrack driving axle, never figured out if they are locked either, no info exists, i have called several, including the factory about the lockers, maybe you can find something for w500 lockers, AAA has some guys phonenumber in san antonio but never posted it, asked Larry Cook in Corpus Christi, had to call factory same dead end i had already been down earlier too, is there anyone in your area who can tell if a locker is aavailable for w500?Could you please show instrument arrangement &winch/pto lever in cab?
