Another locker question

Since some of the experienced locker guys are wound up tonight talking about swivel lockers, I have another question: I've never owned a vehicle with a locking rear end, but have never liked the idea of the odd traction on snow or loose gravel that can cause the fish-tail affect. What would be good/bad right/wrong about putting a locker in the front end only? With lockout hubs, it would only be engaged in 4wd when it would be needed most, and the rear end would remain as normal with no risk of sliding around in 2wd road conditions. A true fully locked differential would not be good since the steering would be affected, but what types of limited slip lockers would be avilable for the front end of a '53 B4 flat fender with 5:83's? TIA, Bruce
