Well, the fartherest point i went to was Aztec New Mexico from Alabama. I have a 16 ft double axle trailer i built with 8000 lb axles. With that size trailer you can adjust the trucks position and therefore the balance. This allows better contol. On the U-Haul the trailer bed is exactly the length of the axle centers. On adjusting that. I was able to travel at 70 mph on the flat. If i remember the width inside the ralls is 82 in.
