I have a PW chassis that has been degreased (not blasted) , but rusty. All I wanted to do is protect it for JUST this winter. I got a quart can os rustoleum gloss black and sprayed it on heavy. It looks great in the coverage and has sealed (cut off the oxygen
supply). If you can cut off the oxygen supply rust will still be there but stop spreading. For a quick fix for a few months, I am happy. In the spring, I will blast it all of and do the frame the correct way.
