I'd have purchased the thing and avoided the pea brain by putting it on my own property.
Narrow world views are tough to take some times, because they just make it not fun to deal with a person. When you walk into a room full of people and automatically assume that they are lesser than you, you miss any chance of learning from them and making yourself a better person.
I speak several languages. In order to do this, I have had to accept different cultures at their face value. I live in Inner City Baltimore, and work as a Paramedic. No matter what I have done, I have found it better to be understanding and questioning without judging (PRE-judging) people I have met.
The pin-heads that rule the world know that we all think this way, and know that we have fears and misunderstandings that rule our life. They are quick to take advantage of it for their own gain. So before you go down the road like some of the other commentators here, think if you are saying something you have really thought up on your own, or something you were told and accepted at face value and are repeating like a parrot. I think I heard a lot of squawking...
Hard choice for Galen to make, but I agree with him. Iron goes to rust, but soul is forever.
