The Pinzgauer replaced the smaller Halflinger, and they were designed to drive up and round Austrian and Swiss mountain tracks, so you won't beat them.
The Half in particular was actually small enough to drive in between trees in an average forest, and although the engine was small and the drivetrain complex they were uncatchable in really hard territory. Small enough to manhandle and even lift.
Pinz is bigger and more capable but heavier and very complex. If you want to camp on top of a mountain these things are for you.
