You should celebrate the fact that you met a REAL redneck, just as you would brag about having a black friend.
In a legalistic, P.C. viewpoint, it is only against the law to deny opportunities, not to hate.It could be said that you have disriminated against the old redneck by refusing a commercial contract based on his core beliefs (as deeply held as any other religious viewpoint). Now WHO is discriminating against who?
