They used Chrysler Industrial engines in all the bigger Cats, with ordinary Chrysler gearboxes but with a specail aluminium full time 'four pontoon drive' transfer case.

The axles are standard Dodge truck units with slightly adapted ends, which apparently makes it easy to put Dodge wheel assemblies on them.

The whole machine is very light build, which makes me think you wouldn't want to put Tucker pontoons under a loaded Dodge as the weight might be too much for them. It should be easy to take Dodge components and make a special, but the Tucker wagon steer would be required if you were going to make a four track.

Pontoons are empty and the top sprocket just drags the chain ladder track round them - construction is like a float plane with four floats and ladder track.
