I back the nut off until it is even with the end
of the threads. I hook my knees firmly behind the
steering wheel, as close to the ceter as possible.
Then I take a nice big brass punch & a dead blow
hammer & whack the end, dead center, while
pulling up on the wheel with my knees. If it takes
more than 3 good hits, check the threads carfully,
go have a beer, then try again. Zep teflon spray or
triflo should help too.
