The steering box drains by removing a lower bolt. The trans doesn't have a vent, but one could install one by removing the top and drilling and tapping an 1/8" pipe thread hole and putting in a 90 degree barb fitting. If you like fording rivers, you could link all the vents (gearboxes, axles, master cylinder, etc.) together and running that to a high point like your glove compartement or add-on snorkle.
