Just finished restoring a 54 C1PW6. Vehicle was used for a few months supporting an experimental
drilling rig. As a result it was covered with drilling mud. Vehicle was parked in 1956, moved in 1963
then driven a little in 1968. I inherited it. Started restoration in 1995, really did most work since May, 1998. Under the mud were original paint colors. Transmission was
primer red with medium green paint then topped with black. Both axles were painted the same. Engine was
bright aluminum.
Most parts so far were available from a local independent parts house. They had to research some items
but all were available. Unique Dodge items are more expensive. Fortunately, I do not need many of these yet.
