I got my stuff from a plumbers. Just use plumbers solder blocks (NOT lead) with a jar of flux and some tinning compound. Formers were just lumps of hardwood and an old welding glove. Key seem to be to clean and flux the surface well, then clean it really well before leading. Works well with practice. Gordon
