My son and I opting to stay MOPAR, dropped a 360 in a 53 M37, as the others stated if you do a V8, plan on using a modern trans to go along with it. There is nothing magical about dropping in a 360 or 318. They are more expensive to rebuild and maintain than the Chev. If I had to do it again, I would look at the Chev. 350 or 400 with an auto trans. Any conversion nicely done should not detract from the value of the vehicle. Tom
