Hey Russ I`d like to think I knew a little,HA But sometimes I`M not sure about that EH. This is the 3rd time someone has put gas in one of my deisels. The last 2 times it was pump jockeys, this time it was my wife,doing me a favour,ooooops! Since I have been involved with deisel,I`VE never had a gel problem, our suppliers here tell me they automatically change to "Winter" fuel. I would choose kero or stove oil to cut if I had A choice. I have to admit, after running cats out of fuel I have used gas straight into the air intake (OUCH) to run them till they picked up their prime, (DON`T TRY THIS AT HOME) Belching gas fumes,George
